have you tryed replacing the battery? If not, then try it.

Put some oil on the sears & armature pin, and make sure your wires are not interrupting your armature pin.

I know for sure it has nothing to do with your QEPH.

Did you replace your power bolt?  Cause it might have something to do with your power bolt.  It could be possible, that it might be your expansion chamber.  check your rear bolt, if you still have the O-ring.  try to oil your rear bolt too.

try it out.

If it works then returned it or talk to the seller about the power bolt trouble.

I had the same problem, mine was the selonid. the selonid got stuck in the up position and didnt want to come down. eazee way to test if it is that problem is to push on the pin that is resting on the selonid. if it go's down then fire it and if the proble happens again then the selonid is bad.
One time i hit someone so many times with my a-5, he woke up dead the next day?

ya i had the same problem, mine would just click and not fire at all. And when it did fire sometimes, It would skip shots.
