I have the A-5 with the R/T but I was looking into upgrades.
Im looking at maybe a hopper but I know the gun comes stock with the cyclone feeder so im not sure if upgrading the hopper would do much for me? I was looking into the E-Grip with the upgraded board but I read some bad reviews on the board. I dont really care about exterior mod's to the gun, I just wanna beef the gun up and add some internal's and etc. Any help is appreciated!

A barrel is the best upgrade you can get right now. Aftermarket barrels will really improve your accuracy.
If you have an R/T, then getting an e-grip is not that important to you. Changing between grips would be a hassle. Hoppers- you can get offset hoppers if you want to use sights or scopes, or Ricochet hoppers that may reduce hopper hits, or you can get oversized hoppers that hold more paint. And if you haven't done it already, make the jump to compressed air. You don't have to do anything to the gun- just make sure you get a tank with a high output regulator on it. |

I have a barrel already, and I usually rent air from the field when I go. I have two barrels a 14 inch freak barrel and a 14 inch flatline, Ive never tried the flatline out so im gonna give it a shot this weekend.

The next thing I would look into then for you gun would be a nitrogen tank. Nitrogen is so much better then co2. I have a Crossfire 68/4500 high pressure output tank and I love it. I suggest the same tank.
However before you buy a nitrogen tank make sure your local field of proshop can fill the tanks to 4500psi. I have 2 proshops here in the area and 1 could only go to 3000psi for some reason but are going out of business soon. Also since it will be for an A-5 make sure it is an high pressure out put tank. |
