So should I? I mean, I don't actually need it, but seeing as to how ICD is going bye-bye, and this appears to be an inventory cleaning, this may be my last chance to get a good gun for cheap. When they're gone, I suspect there will be a price rise, as we're seeing with the 'cockers.
I've got the money, but if I spend it, I won't be able to work on my other projects, but I'll have a new, working gun. Only $50 more than a LaSoya Promaster as well. Thoughts? Edit: It's new in box, from a retailer. Edited by DeTrevni - 12 January 2008 at 4:58am |

well you can allways work on the other projects later, if you dont get that now the price could be like 500 when you want to get it later tho some times it's worth to get somthing that isent going to be around later at a low price you see now. |

Wow that thing does look sweet with the yellow. I say if you are getting a good deal and have the $$ go for it now before the prices do jump up alot.

Well, if it's still in stock, I'll probably grab it tomorrow. Evidently, they are maintenance intensive, so I'll have to prepare for that. Also, I may have to buy a Halo or something, though my Eggy should work fine on semi-only.

Always loved the Naughty Dogs Freestyle. I would take it because its a great buy, but then again, you have some awesome projects to finish, so its a tough call. I wouldn't worry that much about the maintenance, after all, most would say 'Cockers are by far the most demanding markers today in that area, and its clearly not too much of an issue for you. Overall, a great gun at a great value, but it depends on what value this would have to you and how much you would use it.

Erg. I dunnit. They said they had 1 left, and that was in their store showroom, so I got the last one. Since ICD is gone, maybe it's the last one period. Unless they find another stock.
Oh well. We'll see if I regret it soon enough. In a few weeks, it should be in. (1-5 days for store transfer, plus I think it was up to 8 days for economy shipping) PS: I hate you guys. Y'all were supposed to say, "No, DeTrevni, don't do it! Think of the added cost of paint, batteries, a bigger harness, more pods and maintenance! Plus, you've got enough markers as it is! Yer dumb for looking at this!" But you people failed in your responsibility to keep my wallet intact. Shame on you. ![]() Edited by DeTrevni - 13 January 2008 at 6:42pm |

I was actually going to ask you where you got it if you didn't say it was the last one left because someone made me an awesome offer on my 'cocker... Oh well. |

I saw it online a few days ago... and talked myself out of it. Isn't it a Freestyle Pro though, and not a Freestyle 7? If its a Pro they found somewhere in their inventory they apparently had a recall/ constant problem because they added a QEV... which failed under the pressure. They were replaced with elbows. Maintenance intensive... not really. This model... bolt slides out the back,... oil it. And before each day of play balance the regulators. On a regular basis clean and lube the regs. |

Yeah, I was going to say it looks like a 2005 Pro model. I didnt know Naughty Dogs had a FS7 model. I was really into FSs for a while, then the excitment dropped off on them. FS8 on PbN, $180. |
