I was having problems with my 98C going full auto on me. Past experience has taught me that it is time to replace the rear bolt and sear. Since I had to order parts, I decided to drop an e-grip into it as well. Well that kit comes with a specail sear and spring which I installed, along with the new rear bolt. Assembled everything, cocked it, aired it up, pulled the trigger and it burped at me on auto again. Would give a couple second burp, then the bolt/sear would catch as it should, then when pulling trigger again, another burp session. Guess I am at a point where I don't know what else to do to solve the problem. Totally open for suggestions.

Thanks, Lyle

Did you take the sear catch off the trigger?

Its that metal piece with the spring. Just tap the pin out and remove it all.

Is doing this a specific thing for the e-grip? I ask as it did same thing when I didn't have egrip. We have a couple other 98's that function just fine with the trigger return slide (assuming that is part you referred to). Thanks for the help.
