I have a A5 (Co2) and this year I added a E Grip, Vortex Mod, Lighting Rod and expansion chamber. My first time firing the gun I had on full auto shot about 20 balls and chopped. Cleaned everything up and repeated the exact same thing chopped again. The balls appear to be breaking in the cyclone being there is such a mess. The stock barrel has some paint but not the majority of it. If I am correct the full auto only shoots 15bps. I thought the stock gun could shoot this.
I do not plan on playing in full auto but would think I could fire close to that with some practice on the double trigger. What do I need to do to fix this? Thanks for any help. |

Take everything back off and start with one mod at a time to see where the problem is. Also, it is firing full auto no matter what the setting? Check your cylcone to make sure it is cycling fast enough. Lastly, I don't think the E-grip is meant to fire that fast. You may be pushing the boundaries of the marker. Lastly, if you can get an A5 to fire 15BPS without an E-grip or RT, you sir are a god among men.

^ do that and also did you try bringing the ROF down a bit. You said you went straight for 20bps. Also what king of paint are you using? If it is cheaper paint or older paint then that could def be a problem.

"it is firing full auto no matter what the setting?" No I have selected the full auto mode which my owners manual say the factory settings are at 15bps. The e grip seems to function correctly one each mode.
How can I check to see if the cyclone is cycling fast enough? I meant that the gun is capable of 15bps (again in the owners manual) I was no where near that. Paintballs were last years marbles but no dents worked in semi auto, 3 round burst. The ROF on the e grip is set at 15BPS from the factory I have not changed that. Also last year i had my flat line on the gun and I had my FPS down to 270, this should not have changed but I plan on checking it. |

well if the temp was diff then the co2 cou;ld cause a diff FPS. The marbs might have been stale since they were a year old. try a new batch of paint (just one bag). see if that helps.

I misread your original post and thought you said you were firing 20bps. Are the balls breaking only on full auto? The balls may have worked in the semi auto as it was not having to force the balls as much as with the full auto. If after you try new balls and it still breaks, check into the Squishy Paddles.

A teammate of mine was in the testing group for these and he swears by them now. Is a good product to look into if you keep chopping. |

uh, you do realize the stock board comes capped at 15BPS, and the cycone feed can feed atleast 15BPS consistently? I've seen an A5 shoot 26 bps. I know that a 98 will cycle around 30 cps though finding something to feed that would be really hard. 15 BPS on an a5 definately isn't pushing it. |
