    Posted: 27 June 2008 at 9:11am

I always wanted a Freak system for accuracy but didn’t want to sacrifice my flatlines distance. I was thinking of going with the Freak system and doing the electrical tape mod for the Apex tip.

While searching for the best price I ran accross an All American tip  that is milled for the Apex tip!

So I bought the Freak system, 10" AA tip and apex tip.

I tried it last weekend and my accuracy was noticably better at distances and up close.  Not only that but I had to turn my B5's pressure down from 400 to just under 200 to run the new barrel.  I had a few ball breaks in the barrel using marbleizers but I think it must have been old paint.  I am going to try different paint this weekend and see what happens.  I will post a few pics soon.

I wish I would have kept my apex when I sold my 98 and got a shocker. Of course I didn't find that tip until a week after I sold it.
