Hydro questions.

   Well, I don't know where else to put this so I'm doing so here.
My tank (Air America ScrewN) is out of hydro in september, but I'm leaving home for school and don't want to deal with getting it hydro'd at the time. So I'm doing so now. My plan is to send it in to Crossfire for the reg swap deal they do, as my reg is garbage (turns out that it is the reason I can't get velocity over 250, tried every possibilty, a friends tank solved the problem). So now the question; does anyone know:
1) Can a crossfire reg be fitted to my tank (it uses the type of regulator that you can remove without tools, airline friendly thing)?
2) What is the best way to send a tank across the border?
