I'm in Charleston and work was canceled for it. It did nothing. The height of the storm was a couple of 30mph gusts and drizzle. VRY SCRY

So yea. In its path in Jersey and a lot of people left College to go home for it.
And the buses have a good chance of shutting down once it hits.
And no major parties plan for tonight.
Might just throw on COD4 and call it a day.

College is fun

I love mother nature, always trying to kill 'mericun's.

Good for her!

I live right along the tidal section of the Potomac. I can honestly say that both Hunting Creek and Cameron Run, which run through Alexandria, VA, are both rapidly approaching flood stage. The fact that our girl Hanna is moving out over the bay also means that the tides will be higher due to storm surge. I'm thinking you'll see some low-level flooding. They've evacuated the Huntington area of Alexandria, but other than that, it's not much. Steady rain, a few gusts, but nothing that would have kept Erin and I from running around and looking at apartments all day like we did.

I'm inland in upstate NY, we're getting rain from Hanna, but we don't have anything serious to worry about.

Of course, our county fireman's convention parade was today.....in the rain. I wasn't happy.
