    Posted: 01 January 2009 at 12:10am

I have a 98 custom. Tippman expansion chamber. I bought a drop forward off ebay. It balances out the gun perfect.

Mt problem is the stainless gas line that comes with the e-chamber is to long and cant be bent to fit. Anybody else have this issue and a possible solution. Not sue if there are any pics of this solution. I would prefer to keep a satinless line and not use a macro line.

It depends on how sharp the bend is. You can also order shorter SS lines. You may want to get an ASA that has side air line mounts.

Its about 2 1/2 inches from the asa and 3/4 drop. Macro fittings are 3/4z' in length so it wouldnt be much macroline. Not sure if it would make the ben. I was hoping somebody had the same set up with a picture so I could see what they did. I really like the drop but also want the x-chamber. Just dont want to keep buying things and it doesnt work. The smallest stainless line I saw is 3 1/2 which is what I have. lol

i have the tippmann x-chamber on my custom pro.  the braided line is a hassle to fit. i have it almost "S" shaped. no picture sorry.  just bending it until i can thread the drop forward's screws into the grip.

good luck

Try to find a shorter SS line, or just convert to macro.

Tried the s style bend. It ends up sticking out past the gun since the e-chamber swivels on the bottom. I really dont want to use a macroline. Gonna try some 90 degree fittings first. thanx for the ideas
