I recently purchased an alpha black and i was looking to buying a new barrel for it.
I was just wondering what were good quality barrels. |

J&J ceramic. I'd say go with it. Excellent and only $30. Can't go wrong with that.

it all depends on your style of play and what you want out of the barrel. J&J ceramic is very good, i own one. also you may want to check out this. i swear by the apex, so do many others. fantastic barrel... gives you extra distance (which is also adjustable). plus this would look awesome on your AB

jj ceramic or apex barrel. if you are running an etrigger, then for sure go with the jj cuz the rate of fire. i would buy it at your local paintball field. they have the knowledge, and will give you a good price. always support your local field

also as far as 18" goes that is a bit long. the barrel should only be a max of 16" and a minimum of 8". Personally I think 12 is one of the best lengths. not too long to get in the way and long enough to stabilize the ball very well. I too recommend the J&J. It is a high quality barrel. plus if you ever did want something like the apex down the road you could get the apex adaptor and ut it on the J&J. that way (when the apex is turned off) you would have excellent accuracy and when turned on you would have the extra distance. please do be advised that the barrels that add extra distance do lose accuracy at those added distances.

I'd say go for a 12"-14" J&J Ceramic. You can't go wrong with it.
