If i ever get a speedball gun I was  wondering which one for under 350... Here are some things i have thought of:

Proto SLG

Dangerous Power G3 (or Dangerous Power G3 SE)

Spyder Electra 08

Smart Parts Ion (or Redz Ion)

Invert Mini

Smart Parts Epiphany

Those are just some things I was thinking of, so give me your opinions about some of those guns or more recommendations for a different type of speedball gun. Thanks!

the 2 i like most on the list are the DP and the mini.  both are very nice, light,  and fast guns.

DP has great products and service. I love, love, love my F8.

I've shot my friends Mini quite a bit, and I'm a fan for sure, but it wouldn't bump the F8.

Mini not lasting long is a rumour, I know people who have used them excesivly and not seen any decrease in performance.
I like the mini, but I prefer a normal 45 grip.
THe G3 is a really fun gun to use, I think its a bit lighter than the mini, I really had fun using it.
A lot of people like fusions, I for one wouldnt touch them.  Ive shot them, they feel really big, doesnt feel very smooth or nice to shoot, didnt perform to my standards.
SLg is pretty nice but I see a lot of people having problems with them, one of those, know what your doing or dont screw with it type of things.
I dont like sp, dont really like the luxe either....

I don't own a Mini, but if I was going to consider buying it, would I trust posts on a website devoted to Ions where 4-5 people have issues? Or a non-biased website where 273 reviewers averaged 9.2/10 points?

The F8 is pretty much the same height as the G3.... They operate almost the same as a Cyborg and Legend too. They are a design for Efficiency and ease, not smoothness like the G3 and other spools. And no, dont compare your droid to any of these guns, theres no comparison.

DM9 or Ego9, your choice.

But really, I'd say DP, SLG, or Mini.  I'd prefer the DP.

a simple review search, or going to Dye/Protos website and looking up the SLG is not very hard to do.

but they are a mix of a spool valve and mag valve. very reliable. light weight. very low operating pressure 145psi which means more shots from an air tank. very simple. wired eyes, NOT ribbons which suck. on upgrade out of box needed is a better barrel and maybe a feedneck for the older ones.

assuming the electronics dont mess up, the ONLY thing you should ever have to do for maintenance is lube and replace the orings of the bolt as necessary.
