Anybody keeping up with it?

I am so glad the qualifying and seeding rounds have coincided with my spring break. The past few days have consisted of nothing but hanging out with my lady friend, grilling, and watching baseball.

Venezuela vs. Italy is on now.

Should be Venezuela's game, but Italy stomped Canada last night, so who knows.



Eliminated teams so far: China, Taiwan, Panama, South Africa (sorry Kayback) and Canada (sorry Choopie).

Im much more excited about spring training.  I never really got into the World Baseball Classic.  A lot of people in the MLB end up dropping out to focus on their own teams.

I still watch and keep up with it since I love baseball.

I can't stand watching baseball. The only time I will is when the playoffs start.

It does. Normally, I can't stand to watch baseball. However, playoffs tend to be much more exciting (if that's even possible with baseball).

Semi-agree.  I've found that I enjoy watching minor league (Pioneer League) as well.  Plus, some of the parents today just ruin baseball for their kids.

Watching baseball is about a exciting as watching NASCAR as far as I'm concerned. I don't think I've ever watched an entire baseball game, INCLUDING a series game, where my mind didn't wander off, I fell asleep, or a quit watching because fishing for belly button lint was more enthralling.

To each his own I suppose.
