I have a 98 platinum and on the right side are two screws / plugs. I have unscrewed them and they don't seem to serve any purpose. Any idea what they are for?

Put them back in please.
They are the feed ports for the Cyclone hopper or RT trigger.
Without them your velocity will drop and the marker will be wildly inefficient. *edit - Do not fire the marker with a finger over the open port, or your face in front of it.
The jet of high pressure air/CO2 that exits the port can injure. Edited by TinMan - 09 May 2009 at 10:41pm |

You could also take the 10 minutes or so it would require to sit down and read the manual that came with the marker. Since it's a platinum, I am assuming you bought it new and it came with one. If not here you go: |
