drop the flatline, get the sliding stock and a 8" lapco bigshot barrel. the A5 dosnt look that far from a MP5 IMO.

Hey question about the flatline. When i take it off A regular barrel wont fit. I know this is prbly noobish but i'm new to the a5's. So ya

I say keep the flatline. Maybe you can get a barrel shroud to make it look more MP5ish and put some upgrades on it to make it look like an MP5... stock, mag kit

ya it is a smart parts barrel threaded for an a5. Its like when i take off the flatline there's no threading for a barrel. idk how to explain it

it's an adapter that goes in the way the flatline does, it has threads.

The adapter on the Flatline is part of the barrel; it is not removable. (At least I think that's what ammolord was referring too; I was a little confused by his post.
If the marker came from the factory with the Flatline, then it probably did not come with the adapter for the standard Carbine/A5 threaded barrels and you will need to get one. That's the bad news. The good news is that they make adapters for putting various different barrels on the A5 so if you have other barrels you could use them on your new A5. (I've seen adapters for Spyder, 98 and Autococker and there are probably others available. |
