What store is the best place to get gun oil. I've been out for a few years now. But I'm going to need to get some soon.

Walmart. be sure that what ever gun oil you pick isn't petroleum based.

Walmart works. Gander Mnt works. I just use Firearm oil. Works great. Dont bother spending a bunch of money on the "special paintball gun oil" Its the same stuff just with a higher price tag and a smaller bottle

Generally, this is true. Hoppes #9 has worked well for me. Recently though, I've switched to a "special paintball gun oil" called KC Trouble-Free. Tallen told me about the stuff years ago, and I've used it since. It is a bit more expensive than things like Hoppes or Gold Cup, but it is worth it if you can find it. The stuff is super slick, but the thing I like most is that it DOESN'T SLUDE - I don't find nasty black thinckened oil in my gun after a few cases with this stuff, unlike most any other oil INCLUDING Hoppes and Gold Cup. It stays the way it was when I applied it even after a good amount of shooting, which is really nice. As said before though, if you want cheap, decent oil that'll work just fine, Hoppes or Gold Cup is the way to go. Both are pretty common. |
