Catfish are my favorite. Blues, channels, flatheads, doesn't matter. I'll fish for anything that swims, though.

We fish for mackeral more than anything out in the ocean, bass inland.  Though a couple of my friends really got into fly fishing last year.

I voted for strippers, because... yeah.

But seriously, I love largemouth bass fishing. That being said, I haven't really gone saltwater fishing too much.

I don't have the patience for fishing.  The only fish I have ever caught in my life involved the use of a .357 Magnum while intoxicated.*

*Yes, amazingly stupid of me; and one of several reasons that all alcohol-related humor aside I rarely drink anymore.  (And when I do, I never go beyond the point of a mild buzz** more than once or twice a year.)
**A point I can reach very cheaply*** thanks to my carefully cultivated excessively low tolerance for alcohol.
***The expenses can be kept down even when drinking the better stuff.****
****Beer that is, I don't like hard liquor.*****
*****Anymore.******
******With the exception of tequila.

Edited:  For factual purposes.

depends on the size of the striper. the 30+ inch stripers are a very fun catch. that being said, large mouth bass put up a good fight.

I've lived in Florida my whole life and I have never off-shore salt water fished.

Probably because we have some of the best large-mouth lakes in the country.

In middle and high school, I probably fished more days after school got out than not.

I like your 19th century hyphenation of largemouth bass. Right up there with China-man and cat-fish.

Whale seems a little hyphenation-compulsive.

I know. It isn't the preferred nomenclature. Nice marmot, btw.

I myself like to catch strippers. I usually go early in the week when there are less people out so you have a chance to actually interact with the strippers. Sure they're not the type you'll bring home to meet mom but they're still a lot of fun. Even if they just lay there like a fish.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Of course, you don't want them sticking around too long, think that you're in some sort of relationship.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Smart man; introducing them at family get togethers can create awkward silences.
