    Posted: 29 December 2009 at 11:35am

When I screw a tank into my F/A, it rapidly pours out the barrel. After dissasembling the marker and oiling the crap out of everything, the problem persists.

Thing is, I cant figure out how to get the stupid valve apart to replace the seals. Any help would be appreciated.

ALSO, I know you're supposed to assemble either the shock or the F/A adjustment screw cylinder while submerged in oil. What weight am I supposed to use? In the online video, he doesnt mention doing this either...

And finally, the video and manual suggests using special "Tippmann Pneumatics Spring Oil" on the feeder spring(and only on the feeder spring). Since its no longer 1996 and I cant buy this anymore, what can I use on said Spring?

I would imagine you could use any standard gun oil on the spring.

As for the valve, it's functionally identical to a pro-lite valve, so any information on disassembling one of those will be the same procedure. Sorry, it's been quite a while since I owned a pro-lite, I can't remember the procedure off the top of my head. But if it's barrel leaking, I'd check the front cup seal first.

That's valve disassembly for a 98 Custom. A pro-am/pro-lite/Factory F/A uses an entirely different valve.

On the front end of the valve there are two pins. Remove those to empty the valve.
