I always make up names for people I do know and add their numbers. Of course, that might not be smart for higher level jobs...Wink

I filled out an application for a national security clearance a few weeks ago and they only wanted seven years.

Dave, feel free to use me as a reference.  I'm already rehearsing my lines:

  • Doesn't steal near as much as you would expect from someone with a drug problem of that magnitude
  • Computer genius; can get past any corporate restrictions that interfere with his on the job net browsing
  • Internationally known roll model . . . pedobear is based on his life
  • Works diligently when cornered like a rat in a trap and closely monitored

Your list takes away these options, but I always use my sister(different last name) and my friend as previous work references.
