Everyday the news is filled with the 'Health Care' issues as the rest of the ship is sinking around us. We are up to our hips in water, and Congress tells us there are no leaks in the ship, only 'Health Care' matters, and telling us we are 'unsinkable' (see Titanic). The economy, OK blame Bush, Blame Bush, we get it, but what are you (congress)doing? Why is Congress so intent on taking on 'Health Care' with blinders on to the rest of the large leaks in the whole ship.
Look at KC closing schools, the flight from high tax states and the resulting escolation of the 'social' problems in MI, CA, NY, NJ etc. and the Democrat answer of just raise taxes again to cover the loss will just escolate the problems further. Its time to move on, "Health Care" is a mute point if the ship sinks and everyone goes down and only the few have 'lifeboats'. Try again after the elections when the voters let you know if they truely want it, and we will be able to tell by who holds the majority in 2011. |

Maybe because health care is a huge, long term ecenomic issue that is only going to get worse as the baby boomers continue to age. It's pretty easy to see that the rate of health care inflation is unsustainable.
