All information is in the tittle. I opened my egrip and the 2 orings is in perfect condition, i dont understand why i have a leak thx |

Sounds like a loose firing pin fitting, some people have been having this. Easiest way to do this: Air the gun up, don't touch the trigger. Remove the air source without firing a shot. Field strip the gun, be careful pulling the valve out as there will be a small pin sticking a bit out of the bottom, that's the firing pin. Grab it with some pliars and pull it straight out caaaarefully, it's damn thin and easy to break. Tighten the fitting that you removed the pin through, one of the allen wrenches will fit it. Snug it down tight, no hulk-tight. Put the pin back in. Should fix it. |

Thx for help.... I already did this trick for repair my no shooting issue. The air leak is in the bottom of the egrip not at the trigger

I have new...
I tried to change up the 2 oring of the top by the 2 ones from the bottom... the problem still happen. So i think my tube is broken... The problem can be the tube or the metal adapter for the tank |

Call Tippmann customer support. It could be that the line needs to be replaced or the ASA isnt making a good seal on the Line.

The leak was small when i used the phenom for the 1st time... but now its a big leak. I dont think the ASA got a weaknees with the using time. I think its the tube got domaged with using

I have the same proble and i have the mech phenom, upon taking apart the handle it is a fault in the weld on the airline closest to the ASA
i bought a replacement in handle airline to see if this solves the problem.
i think it may be an issue with the asa's connection to the handle pulling on the interanl airline
most likely switching to an air through stock

Hi,
Sorry to be late to the party, but your problem is the brass tube in the E- grip, I bet you screwed your tank in the ASA? The E- grip in my opinion is not strong enough for this and is only made of plactic and to support the weight of a tank is a no no. Use a remote line. Daz |

My friend approached me with this problem of an air leak at the E-grip. After I looked over the gun and took the handle off I checked the brass tubing that goes through the handle. Both top and bottom o-rings were fine, the problem was the bottom of the tube, just above the o-rings where Tippmann welded the pieces together, had a slight break all the way around. This problem could be fixed with either applying a thin amount of JB Weld around the break and letting it cure over night, or just calling Tippmann for a replacement brass tubing.

The gas-line leak issue has been fixed long ago. If anyone ever has a leak at the solder joints call Tippmann at 800 533 4831 for a FREE replacement gas-line. But don't confuse a gas-line o-ring leak with a solder joint leak.
