I just got a X7 Phenom and my first HPA tank (ninja 50/4500) and I'm not sure when I put the tank in the Phenom should I stop turing the tank as soon as I hear the air in in the marker or should I keep going till it wont turn anymore???
Thanks for your understanding |

being a relative n00b myself, I would just say that if you stop turning it as soon as you hear the air, during play, it may not be snug enough to stay on during any kind of rigorous play. Might fall off. If you twist it until it stops without being a Hulk and over-tweaking it, you would be better off.

The bold part pretty much covers it. Edit: I will add that some tank valves and ASA actuating pins do not work well together. I have used tank and marker combinations where the valve wouldn't open enough to operate the marker and others where the pin in the ASA actually would close off the valve opening if you put the tank on too far. Just a couple of things to consider if you run into issues. Edited by Mack - 31 August 2010 at 8:21pm |

yes just tighten it untill it stops, Mack just pointed out a few trouble shooting ideas as well incase the air flow was restricted.
