i was just doing the normal tippmann 98 custom cleaning and lubing and i put to much lube into it (now fixed that prob) but before realizing i put to much lube in i stretched the drive spring out a bit to much and now it pushes open the valve ever so slightly so it leaks when not cocked its really not a big deal but it would be nice to fix does any one have a way to make the spring less powerful please and thank you

That is normal. You should cock the gun before you air it up anyway.

ok thanks i just wanted to make sure it wasnt going to mess up the valve this is why its not a big deal to me more of just a better to ask then think im right all the time thanks again
