my a5 isn't working

i just bought my tippmann a5 from my friend who has used it before and i tried it with some disposable co2 canisters i bought for it and i screwed one in and tried to fire it without the barrel on and the paint ball just popped out of the end like it had no power. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

You shot it without the barrel, thats what wrong.

i tried it with the barrel then nothing comes out at all

it really sounds like it has no air then. Those disposable cartridges aren't the most reliable things.

ok but they work fine on my other bt4 combat. I have a 20oz co2 canister but it is empty and i don't know anywhere that will fill it up.
