these pesky boating accidents, they just seem to happen all to often to gun owners.

The only way that's acceptable is if you were trying to steer the boat by shooting the steering wheel.

And, because it's sig-related, my dad owns a Sig P226 of some sort that was never really put into production. He said he used to go to gun shows and troll (he didn't say "troll," but it's what he was doing) the people working the booths by asking them if they had parts for his special pistol. When they would mention that Sig doesn't make that sort of gun, he'd pull it out, pretend to make sure he said the right thing, show it to the guy, and have a friendly conversation with them, usually resulting in him being able to get a deal on something he wanted.

Nothing like having a gun that doesn't exist, amirite?

Right? I know hundreds of people on forums that have the same problem.

It's that old saying, "easy as shooting fish from the edge of your very unstable watercraft which is bound to tip over due to recoil" that really gets us gun-owners in trouble.

To make flinging a gun off of a boat acceptable, you need to be either French or using recoil as the only means of propulsion while hunting bears and using your face to kill the bears as you have to save ammo to get home and beat your wife...While shouting innuendos at passing ladies.
