http://www.npr.org/2011/03/10/134430155/federal-budget-deficit-hits-record-in-february

"The federal government's budget deficit grew by $222.5 billion in February, the largest one-month increase in history. Economists are forecasting the deficit for the year will be the biggest imbalance on record."

So we as a country put the democrats in charge of everything in 2008. They went on the largest spending spree in the nations history. Which was argued would "fix" the issues using the keynsian model.

Except today we are in a much worse position than before.

And the President wants to "lock in" the inflated levels from 08 and on to help "fix" the economy. When printing money is just hurting the value of the dollar. Look at the prices of everything as they are rising. This is inflation caused by printing money.

What do we do at this point? Keep spending or try to get out of debt.

We promised Taiwan we would protect them from China.

So if we need to send warships to protect them, we have to borrow money from China to pay for it...
They tremble at my name...

Yes, let's.

It's been almost a day since we last saw some good hypocrisy.

And to start, how do you prefer to eliminate the deficit?

Bought 10 tuna helpers for $10 the other day.  Seems good to me.

I think the lesson to be learned here is that whatever prices are doing, be it rising, falling, or even just remaining stable, is that there is only one reason for why they are doing what they are doing.  There is no way that multiple political/economical/environmental forces could be possibly acting together to influence the markets.

Since the budget is so terrible we should tax the rich more heavily since they can afford it.

Obama is the cause. I am pretty sure he sent his Kenyan Brethren to Egypt first, and then around causing revolts. He just wanted a cut because he was contracted by ExxonMobil.
Que pasa?

Just hope we don't miss a debt payment.

But the dollar will eventually fall. That is inevitable. Hold onto nickels, dimes, and quarters before 1964. (If you can find any)

Paper money will be only worth the heat from it burning.

Buy food while it's cheap. (This is the cheapest food has been since the creation of the US)

Beans and rice are cheap, and store for a long time. Honey is also something that will store almost forever.

I'm not going to bother hoarding. I've got enough guns and motivation in the form of a small child that I'll just pillage and rob those too burdened by their precious stores to run,
