I just added the e-trigger to my Tippmann Alpha Black. The install went ok but when I go to shoot, even on Semi it fires air like it is on full auto. On Semi the gun fires only one ball per trigger pull like it should but the air is going as fast as it would if I was on full auto.

Any thoughts?

I know it sounds weird.  On semi firing mode if I pull the trigger it will shoot one ball, but it I keep holding it down the gun will continue to just shoot air.  It sounds just like it does when it is on full auto, but no more balls come out.

it sounds like your gun is run-away cycling. When you installed your e-grip, did you use the original trigger? Did you take the little metal clip off the back?

Or possibly your sear isn't resetting properly. Does it stop shooting when you take your finger off the trigger?

Yes.  Everything is stock except for the e-grip kit.

No, I did not see anything about doing that in the instructions.  Was it supposed to come off?

On semi it does; however, on a few occasions on full auto it kept going after I let go of the trigger.

Any more thoughts?

Yep that was it!  I took it off and it works just fine.  I watched the Hustle Paintball video install on Youtube and there was no mention of taking off the metal from the trigger.  Not only that but they still show it on there when closing up the gun.

After taking it off it is obvious that the metal part was hitting the seer and that was what was causing the issue.

Thanks all!
