I don't even know what I could possibly want. I pretty much got everything I need. Maybe some workout equipment and money to take a trip after I graduate.

All I really want this year is a good rain jacket. All my weather proof clothings are too warm for where I live now.
Other than that, I imagine my dad will get me some good career related swag. |

I'm to the point where I can just buy anything I want/need. I really don't have a list of anything this year.

Honestly, I will probably just end up with some cologne and whatever my 8 year twins think I desperately need which usually ends up being something really odd. Like a bathing suit and flipflops.
My father in law is buying us 1/2 of a cow though.....

Yeah my mom and girlfriend have been bugging me for what I want. I cannot think of anything I really want. I'm kind of content in my existence right now, as far as stuff goes.
The only thing I can think of is a low-light lens, like the 50mm f/1.8, but I'd hate for anyone to spend the cash on it just for me.

I asked for a few small things, like a T-Shirt. I just bought myself a crate of 7.62x54R.
And tallen, Sarco is a really cool store to go shop in, but they're jerks.

That was about when the realization that I was "growing up." I usually can't think of anything to ask for people to get me. I'm a pretty simple guy anyways. I have only bought 2 ps3 games since I got mine years ago, and besides golf I don't really have any hobbies that aren't lifting/running/watching TV. I'm actually happy I'll be able to tell someone about the jacket. The "I don't really WANT anythings" have grated on family nerves the last few years. |

My wife and I have a pretty cool thing going there we don't buy THINGS for each other as much as an experience. Last thing she got me was an afternoon of port and cheese tasting. Yummy.
Our house is too full of crap to buy people things any more. KBK |

Steady employment, or failing that a nice warm cardboard box and a lifetime supply of Boon's Farm. |

In all honesty, given the status of my bank account after having been un(der)-employed for the last six months, I'm contemplating 'skipping' Christmas for the wife and I and focusing all of our resources on the kids. Her and I don't need anything anyway, and as long as everyone's home and happy, that's enough for me.
Its the ONE holiday where we don't travel anywhere. We don't visit in-laws, we don't even go visit my family, who live 15 minutes away. My rule is that Christmas is done in our house for the kids. If anyone wants to visit US....fine. But I'm not jockeying the little ones all over the countryside to satisfy the demands of jealous family members on either side. That doesn't do anything but erode the peace of the holiday. |

Not looking or anything in particular and haven't even thought about it. The maw was giving me grief about never telling her what I want for birthdays/chrimbo.
I wish I was young again as then I'd have the bare faced cheek t ask for ridiculous stuff , and there was a wee chance I would get it as well. Now I understand there's not a lot of money about and wouldn't ask for a great deal if anything at all. My favourite part of Christmas is just getting together with my mates at one of our houses for a party. It's probably one of my favourite nights of the year just eged by Hogmanay.

I think it's pretty commonplace for couples to start skipping gifts to one another once kids come along. Honestly, it seems silly to me considering neither of us really needs anything and all buying presents for each other does is feed into the commercialization of Christmas. We've even pared back on what we get for the kids these days. I compare what my mom used to buy me when I was a kid and it's absurd the amount of loot that I used to walk away with.

Well when you have kids, parents getting stuff from Santa also makes it more believable that Santa exists.
