Hello all,
I purchased an Alpha Black tactical almost a year and a half ago. I noticed a few things on my marker and wasnt sure if others had the same problem. I noticed that the safety button was able to be pushed with ease while another ABT that i tried had a very firm button that was not easily moved. Which is the correct format. Also, how durable are these weapons? I have used it a few times but never dropped it.;

The crossbolt safety shouldn't be able to go from Safe to Fire without you having to depress it. So long as it's not simply "flopping around" then it's fine. You don't want it to be too stiff. In all honesty, paintball relies on barrel blocking devices more than mechanical safeties anyway due to the fact that mechanical safeties are prone to failure. As for durability, they are extremely durable. If you go play paintball at a pay-to-play field, 95% or more of their rental arsenal is usually Tippmann products. Many fields are still using the old (20 years old in many cases) Pro-Lite models. That should give you an idea of how durable they are. I've seen real firearms that don't hold up to the abuse that those things take. |
