Alright so my tippmann 98 custom ultra basic has been chopping non stop ever sense i put in an e-grip and cyclone feed. Before that without either of the two it worked fine now it wont stop chopping them. I am almost certain it is not the cyclone because i fired it with a gravity and got the same results non stop chopping. i honestly have no idea what could be wrong seems how the only things that are different from it with and without the e-grip is the new sear and bolt so i figured it is a problem with those. I will try it later with the original bolt and sear but keep the e-grip part in and see if it stops chopping them but i dought that will fix it. Until then can someone plz give me other options of what might be wrong

Firing at any decent speed with an e-grip and a gravity hopper is going to cause you to chop, end of story. So to get a better idea of whether it's the cyclone or something else, you need to put a force-feed hopper on there to test it out. I'd suggest borrowing a friend's Halo or Rotor and giving that a shot. If it's still chopping, then it's something else.

What BPS is your e-grip set at right now?
