   We lost power 2030 wednesday night during snow storm, lines down transformers arced, a mess, whole town of Ceresco and surrounding area, nearest power, south of I-80 in Lincoln 12 miles away.  Near zero temps wed night, generator going, fireplace going, coal stove in basement going (with wood). 
Thursday night 1*, internal house temp 45*, was just a 'fun night.
Cooking with camp propane stove, a few lights per generator, but we had fun.
Today had to service generator, got some things squared away for the 'critters', and was prepared for the 'saturday' best case staement from OPPD.  Surprise lights came on a few ago, went out and checked man cave for frozen pipes, dogs are now happy sitting under furnace vent blowing hot air on them in mancave garage,the kennel fencing is down, drifts blew up on fencing and down it went, bent and mangled, so got to repair that now, hot tub water was at 37* heaters on now, fireplace and coal stove buring down, all is well again....till
