How many variations does tippmann have of this gun? I have two that are slightly different where the air feeds the cyclone and neither has the select style safety.

There are two main different versions of the A5.  The Pre-2011 A5 and the current model.  These guns differ in the finish and the grip set up.  The current version can accept the current H.E. e-grip.   There have been several small changes over time such as the sling swivel on the back, oring retention on the barrel adapter, and some cyclone upgrades. The A5 currently comes in 3 versions. Mechanical, RT, and HE Egrip. You can upgrade and downgrade within these options. | |
