Hello everyone, I have an old model 98 (gills) I bought YEARS ago. Me and a group of guys are getting back into woodsball. I figured rather than buying a new marker just upgrade the M98, being that it is a work horse!
1st question: Are there butt stocks available for the M98(gills)? 2nd question: If I dremel off the trigger guard from the body can I install a trigger such as the Fang or a double trigger? Thank you!!

Thank you , for the info. Much appreciated. I was doing some searching this morning and found a couple J&J barrels. They say the 20' ceramic fits ALL 98 models. Now I have been reading that the threading was changed slightly from the m98 to the custom 98 and so on. My question is what is a quality recommended barrel for back men in woods ball play? Thanks again!

The threads were changed slightly. All barrels currently made for the 98 will work on the older 98s as well.
All stocks that are for the 98 or the "98 act" will work with older model 98's. Longer barrels will make your aim better, but not necessarily make your gun accurate. This link should help. Paintball Barrel Accuracy FAQ |
