Sounds like an o-ring got blown out, or is missing. I would take it all apart and check it all out...

You can always contact Tippmann support at serviceshop@tippmann.com they would be best at helping you troubleshoot it...
They tremble at my name...

Take it from a former tech, sometimes things appear to be fine in the o-ring department, but there's actually an issue. My suggestion would be to contact customer service directly and they'll take good care of you.

Sounds like a defect in the chromium hyperliner. Sometimes they don't get chilled enough after forging due to excessive humidity in the air(the moisture effects the liquid nitrogen), which causes a poor fit into the interior frame lock.

The TPX orings on the older ones on the brass line are a pain to get on and off without slicing it. If it's the front one it could sounds like it's coming from the valve.

Try the small oring that came with the gun. It's on the brass tube that goes from the piercing valve to the regulator.
