I recently made the switch to the pistol family,.. and I went the way of the TPX Pistol over another marker
I am reading on several web forums that Tippmann offers upgraded parts from a TPX pistol to a TiPX pistol. Only one of the pistols I have is a TPX, the other is a TiPX. How do i go about getting my marker converted over with the new internals to a TiPX??? I dont see this information on the main page..... Also,... I would like to have the markers sent in to be serviced,... I assume they can do that at the same time,.. any idea what that will cost for both markers? |

Call the 1-800-533-4831 customer service number and ask Tippmann directly. They have excellent customer service. Edited by God - 19 July 2012 at 10:08am |

I just got a TPX not a TiPX and called Tippman customer service at 1-800-533-4831 option 2 and they were more than helpful. If you give them your serial number they can check to see if your gun has the updated internals. Also, I have 4 8-round magazines that they are going to swap out for the 7-round Tru-feed once I send them back to them. Oh and in addition to the internal changes the reason they change the name is as follows: "Just a name change, there is a baseball bat in Louisville KY-USA with the name TPX and we were infringing on that companies trademark (tpx) which prompted us to change to Tipx." Aloha! |

Email TKlein@tippmann.com
with your serial number. He can look it up & determine if it's been updated
already. If it does need updating then you will send your marker into our Belgium
warehouse & service center for a free update.
