  • All made out of raw stock
  • Custom valve hammer velocity adjuster design.
  • Made out of two pieces of stock that are held together by one screw and one setscrew to hold it straight.
  • The valve is custom. No there is no jam nut. The screw holding the two tubes together is is the same screw holding the valve in. and yes there is an o-ring between the two tubes were the air hole has been drilled.
  • DM4 detent in the bottom of the tube (finger detent)
  • 4 1/4 guide rods as a 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch main guide rod. All riding on o-rings to create a replaceable wear surface that should last forever and it makes the pump stroke just about as smooth as can be.
  • Sled is sunk into the body the sear sticks through the bottom tube instead of just going up in the slot. These combined makes the body 1/4" shorter than a conventional cocker.
  • The hammer is about the same size little diff design, but same size.
  • The valve is significantly bigger and longer (higher volume) than a cocker valve. Higher volume air chamber, while still keeping the gun shorter than a mini cocker.

Well that's where the mask lense comes into play. With most masks, the laser doesn't stay a straight line through it all the way but instead creates a glare similar to that if you were to look at a street light at night. It makes that huge diamond of light across your mask, a glare basically.

Which can also be dangerous.

There is a huge problem with green lasers being shone at pilots. That's over a couple of thousand feet, through scratched tinted glass as well, and it is still dangerous.

I'd honestly think twice before running them on a toy in a friendly sport.


That being said my 50mw, 100mw and 800mw all shine directly through my mask with very very little distortion. Now my mask is almost brand new, I've only got a couple of games through it and I do look after my stuff, but I still wouldn't be happy with someone shining lasers at me while playing.

It's more for a coolness factor, I've yet to use the laser in a game because there's no practicaal use for it during the day. I just happened to test it out on my mask (Sly Profit with monochrome lense) and it distorted the light throughout the  mask. Perhaps the monochrome played a factor in the distortion but regardless, I know the dangers of pretty green lasers, so you don't have to worry about me burning a hole in some poor soul's head... I use the laser for more practical things anywyas such as briefs.

Other downside to lasers is that they can give away your position.  Last season I eliminated a guy with a TM7 in heavy brush with my Phantom who should have had me dead to rights solely because he accidentally hit the on button for his laser and it gave away his position.
