I upgraded my Cyclone parts with Tech T upgrades:
http://www.rockstartactical.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=4117 Ever since i upgraded my cyclone parts. The new Allen screw that came with the ratchet too hold the paddles on. Keeps coming loose. Everytime im using it i look in when i'm refilling my hopper and i see it is slowly unscrewing itself upward. Its only a matter of time until one time i dont see it, it unscrews itself all of the way.. and then i lose it. I dont know whats going on here. I have to re- tighten it all of the time. Its really anoying. I'm going to the hardware store to see if i can find a small lock washer. Maybe that will help. Do you guys have any idea what is going on here? |

Okay. Thanks for all the advice guys
![]() I played all day today with the lock washer on it. I think that solved my problem. If it wears out i will just go buy another one for 5 cents. If anybody ever has this problem... now you know what to do. |

Get some red loctite, put a drop on the threads of the screw and tighten it in. Thats loctite's job, to keep hardware from unscrewing itself when it shakes or moves.

Well... It appears it did not solve my problem. I was out playing all day today. I didnt really keep and eye on it because i thought i had it fixed (dumb mistake) At the end of the day i took my hopper off and i think the screw fell out right then but i dont know for sure. Anyway. I lost the screw. Its gone. I emailed Tech T. Hopefully they will send me a new ratchet with screw and everything. I think their must be something wrong with the threads on the Ratchet.

...Just use some loctite. This is exactly why the stuff was invented.

im kind of having this same problem with a valve screw on my model 98. It fell out one time when i was playing and i bought new bolts but when i go to screw it in it dosent catch and just spins. Will loctite keep it in place?

Sounds like you stripped the valve. As long as you have at least one bolt in, you should be fine. Loctite may hold it in place, but it will just be for looks as it won't hold anything if real force is applied. Only true fix is to buy a new valve housing.

You could rap some Teflon tape around the threads, I use it almost everywhere on my gun so I have no leaks or problems. Just don't use too much or too little.
