ok long story short we cant get the 98c back together...
does the buffer stay loose in the gun? we accidently bent the sear spring....will we have to replace it? everytime we try to put it back together the sear and spring pop up. I tryed to look at the 3d model, but ours looks different inside, the sear spring points the other way (to the right) and yes i am positive that it is a 98c. can somebody pleases please please please help!?! |

You can use a stiff clicky pen spring. Or search your local hardware store.
Those are the cheapest options. |

just use a pen spring like you would with your trigger spring. |

Yes the buffer Oring does just sit in there loose. The drive spring and rod just goes through the buffer ring and into the little hole in the plastic cap in the back. About the sear spring, if it really is ruined than I would give Tippmann a call and hit 2 for warranty and tech and ask the technician if he can send a new sear apring out to you. They have awesome service - they may not charge you. It's definitely worth a try! Good luck. |
