An expansion chamber is used for CO2. CO2 is stored in your tank as a liquid and it has to expand into a gas before it enters your gun. An expansion chamber is just a place that allows for that to happen. Under high rates of fire, you have the possibility of liquid CO2 entering the gun directly and freezing things up if you don't have an expansion chamber. A remote line also works as an expansion chamber. Hope this helps.

well, if u r planning to get an expansion chamber, dont. it is a waste. to get even better results, get an anti siphon tube installed at your local proshop. it is a tube in your tank that is above the liquid level and only pulls the gas in, there fore, it doesnt need to let the liquid expand. this should run u $10-15. use the money u saved for paint or air or other stuff.

With an anti siphon you need to be sure you screw in your tank with the same side facing up everytime. Otherwise the tube will suck up nothing but liquid if its pointing down.
Or you could always just vert mount your tank. |

if you have an A-5 you can just take off the gasline and run vertical.with a 98c you need a vertical adapter, but dont get a vert adapter just to run vertical, get a palmers stabilizer,or better yet,HPA.im not gonna explain what that is right now do a search
