Fastest cycling, probably Tippmanns and Spyders. I remember hearing that the A-5 can do 68 cps. Spyders; forties?

Overall fastest firing paint, probably Automags.

I heard Karnis can let paint loose pretty fast before.

I think autocockers are the slowest of any middle to high end marker (depending which model you get like pro or sport)but the fastest gun that i have seen fired that ive seen myself is a dm5 i have an imagine its slow and inaccurate and my 98 custom-flat is kinda slow but really accurate

The valve wasnt being actuated, so all you saw was the ram and bolt moving back and forth....I doubt there was to much air...if any at all moving through the bolt.

Vikings have been recorded as shooting faster than any gun ever(that's with paint, not cycles!). The new PBX half-block 'cocker has shot paint in excess of 30 BPS, and cycled in excess of 45 CPS, so don't beat on 'cockers. Half-blocked 'cockers are as fast as any other gun.

Either way, it depends on how each specific gun is teched-once you hit about the $900 range, all guns shoot about same speed: way faster than you need.

You're Dragon Autococker is not going to be nearly as fast as a true E-cocker, and the only real difference in speed between full-block 'cockers and other guns is that they have a lot of reciprocating mass from the back block.

With a mod, the Karni can dry fire 54 bps...so an autococker w/ out paint....with paint perhaps an angel

I have seen some Shockers with the Q-loader hit 30 bps.  Thats fast.  They dont need to be cocked, so cycling is different with them.  Im buying one based on size, speed, and overall ratings.  I, for one, HATE autocockers.  I shot one once... It was nasty when it comes to speed (not as fast as Shocker), but it was not accurate or as light as the Shocker.  I can't stand Autocockers. (they are quiet, but that comes at a price with Autos..)  Yes.. Mags are kind of fast, but not acurate.  In the end accuracy counts the most.

Massive shootdown on something like a tippmann with the sear removed/depressed. Automags are only as fast as they can be when theyre hooked up to a scuba tank with something like a 2000 PSI output pressure.

E/XMags are fast when setup right with a super high input pressure. Angels and trixes with super low debounce all can cycle rediculously fast. No, balls dont collide in the air when you are shooting fast. Think about it, you shoot 10 balls a second right? That means one ball is fired every 1/10th of a second. At 300FPS the first ball is fired, it moves 30 feet before the next one is fired. At 20BPS it is 1/20th of a second. That is 15 feet in between each ball. 40BPS means that each ball still has 7.5 feet in between them at any given point in time. This theory was disproved long ago.

I honestly doubt youve seen hit any gun fire paint faster then 25 BPS anywhere. Karnis hitting 54 CPS, as said by Gatyr, isnt fully firing, the ahmmer can not move that fast. Timmys dont rip well over 25 BPS, most likely not over 23 BPS. Some angels may be able to hit 25, but as for that video of the fly doing 30-something, i dont honestly believe it was as fast as they claim. Most high end guns are fast withought the best stuff on them, normally all you need is a newly reprogrammed board and the fastest loader you can find.

Depends, the new trilody series is gonna suck in general cause of the design and the trigger frame. E-Cockers are just as fast as any gun out there. DM5s are pretty quick, but the design limits them right in the high 20's for CPS.

That qloader viking video was impressive. Again with the PBX cocker, i dunno if i fully believe that its as fast as they say. You are right about half blocks being as fast as any gun though. The reciporcating mass from the back block of a full block autococker, although it does effect the cycling time, doesnt slow the gun down by more then a few BPS.

Read above, that wasnt firing air, just cycling. Basically the electronics were short stroking the gun. Also, it wasnt a mod, it was just some reprogramming of the board by an eclipse tech.

Ugh, where to start with this statement... First, shockers are designed exactly the same as trixes (hence why you can put DM4/5 boards in them and make it work without heavy modification to anything except the wiring. This is why i honestly can doubt youve ever seen a shocker fire 30BPS. Get a PSP legal gun, shoot paint at 15 BPS, and i guarantee you will be impressed by how fast it actually is. You hate cockers cause it wasnt as fast as the shocker, thats believeable. Different trigger setups for different people, if you were better on the shocker maybe the trigger was shorter or lighter then the cockers. Not as light as the shocker is believeable, but accurate is kind of hard to judge. Maybe the regs needed to be cleaned, inconsistency in velocity will effect accuracy. Maybe the different paints in different barrels threw off the accuracy. Maybe there is a whole lot of reasons why this could occur that i dont feel like going into now. Accuracy can be attained by consistency and paint to barrel match foremost. Get a good tank with a nice fast recharge rate and an inline reg with the same and youre pretty good. Make sure theyre both cleaned and well lubed and youre even better. Check your paint to barrel match, you shoulc be able to use the barrel and your mouth with a paintball to shoot it fairly easily at a pretty good speed.

It has been proven over and over again that the fastest with paint/no-blender  gun is the Angel G7.  It has been clocked officially at 31 bps.  I'm tired of hearing about "karni this" and "karni that" if you can manage to steal the debounce codes from WGP, then you can make the karni bounce to over 40, it tears up your gun, and is a waste of time.

Your right, it wont happen, as long as the reg doesn't spike. If you first shot comes out at 280FPS, then the reg spikes, and the next ball comes out at 300 FPS, Then next shoot, the ball travels 200, and the next 300, balls are going to collide.

And thats why consistency is more important then many people realize! Well, that and it effects accuracy probably the most of any of the factors.
