Topic: What Nitro sizePosted: 17 January 2005 at 8:51pm |

Im think about getting PMI pure energy, but what size should I get. I play mostly woodsball and need to more fairly fast, I need a tank that can hold at least 1000 shots and is small. Does anyone have a 88/4500 tank and can tell me if that is huge? Also what about 91 ci 4500psi tank, are they big like big as a 98. |

How big are you?
I am 5'6" 140lbs and a 45/4500 tank is just a tad bit longer than comfortable for me, but I make do. The 68ci and 88ci are the same length as is the 72ci. The 91ci is slightly longer. The 68/4500 will yield around 900-1000 shots on a stock 98 Custom. A longer or heavily ported barrel will reduce efficiency though. I would go with the 88/4500 if you definatly want over 1,000 shots. |

Go to a shop w/your gun and spin a few on your gun. Only way to know, and you can mess around with drops and rails if needed. The 68/4500 is usually the all around standard size. 45/4500 if speedballin. Anything bigger in the woods usually is running a remote.

70ci Crossfire Stubby... They hold around 1050 or more, and are only 1/2" longer then a 45ci.
But... They are really FAT tanks. |

Oh ok, thanks. Yea the reason why I didnt go to the pro shop is they only carry 3000psi tanks and 45s only for some reason so I cant find out whats best for me. But is the PMI 81/4500 carbon wraped any good? |

Yes its a good tank with a good reg but it's going to be very big. They sell mostly 45k and 3k because they are the most common and popular size tanks.

I have a Nitro Duck 90/4500 tank. I'm about 6'1" and It's a little big. I added the Shocktech A-5 drop to my A-5 and now it fit's perfect. The 90 is a little longer than a 20oz CO2 and a fair bit fatter.
