It depends on what you play really.  Speed ball courses demand a certain kind of barrel, and woods ball corses really benefit from the flatline.  It really depends on what your preference is.l
I make all my own mods.

It doesn't matter really- pick one that looks cool. Don't get one too long, anywhere between 14" to 10" is good. The only only only only thing you need to watch is the paint. Yes, paintballs come in different sizes. If you know anything about mechinical drafting, the tolerances are different. Check the Uber Upgrade FAQ- it tells you everything you'll ever need to know about the basics of paintball equipment.

how about helping him instead of spewimg crapp from your mouths.

There is no such thing as the best barrle, except for a super chromium, but there are ones that excell in certan places.

JJ ceramcs and Lapco bigshots are in the same field, cheapish, and decently accurate.  Good accuracy for the average player.

The Flatline only fits the A-5 and the 98C, although the barrel is different for each.  It puts backspin on the ball and causes it is gain lift, causing a much longer flight.  The accuracy is good at normal ranges, but it declines at post normal barrle ranges.

Multi piece kits like the Freak kit and Evil pipe are verry accurate because you can match the paint you use to the barrel, but these are very expencive.  I'v never used one for this reason.

Just shoot yourself and save me the trouble.

TNG, if you want to get all kinds of info/reviews/experiences that the people here have had with barrels, just hit the Search The Forum Search button and type in the word barrel.  It will be good reading.
