I will be buying my first Paintball gun and I have researched many sites to buy a Tippmann X7 Phenom, They are all the same price $399.00 Is their a good "respectable" place to buy tippmann, that has good return policy, good customer service, and honors warranty? Are their any sites that offer the Phenon lower than $399 ? I am also looking for advice on AIR.....I was thinking about a Ninja 3000psi tank. I was told to go HPA, rather than CO2, is this correct? I also will need a stock (I like the folding stock), If I wanted to upgrade my barrel what would be the best barrel for woodsball scenario style? (not looking for a sniper barrel) something like the flatline, is their a better barrel than flatline?
ANY advice would be great! THANKS!

Can't help with much more than the barrel.
J&J and the Lapco Bigshot are both good barrels.
You can get them for around $30. HPA less finicky with velocity spikes and such than Co2 is, and generally cheaper to fill your tanks.

In the broad spectrum of bad ideas I think this would have to rate somewhere between running with scissors and sticking your pecker in the toaster.

Try going on ebay and finding a guy name FamousGuy he sells paintball equipment. Im not sure about his price for the X7 but he'll ship it to you for free if you order from him. For air. if the marker is electric DO NOT USE CO2!!! Use HPA(high pressure air) The apex barrel is much better than the flatline IMHO. It also can be ordered from FamousGuy. It can be adjusted for distance and acuraccy and is only like $35

Its not that i think stuipidity should be punishable by death, i just think we should take the warning labels off of things and let the problem handle itself.

ya i would shop around lookin for a good price but
tippmann has them priced out like that so not to sure if your going to get it cheaper just depends on what sight you go to just watch the shippin costs also the flatlin barrel like tacogood says is ok but the apex its pretty much the same thing so i would lookin into a 14' apex2 barrel(they are pretty sexy and look like a suppressor) and yes HPA is king so only use that on your marker, its better anyways as stated above! for the folding stock look around for a couple there are differnt ones but make sure ts for your x7 hahah FINALLY a new person not wanting to be a sniper good on ya hahaha |

see if you have any local shops around you... it might just be me, but in terms of service, it's a lot easier to deal with a real person behind a counter.

I'm not a fan of special ops paintball and all the 1337-5n1p0rz BS they used to push but if you have to shop on the internet check into them. Their customer service has always been really good even the one time I had issues with an order.

Most places are going to abide by Tippmanns MSRP. It's probably part of their agreement in order to become a Tippmann dealer. Occasionally, you may find a lesser deal, but it usually on bundled items and/or closeouts. Here are some online places that I frequent for paintball supplies. It's good to try and find someone that has all or most of the items you need to help reduce shipping costs. Many times, you'll find someone on Ebay posting tons of Tippmann markers, but they don't carry all the other things that you will need like pods, pod packs, masks etc. Once you add up the shipping costs from buying from 4-5 vendors it adds up quick, and that "free shipping" savings fades away.
Some reputable Online Retailers:
Should get you started.
