Too far from me. Liberty is about the longest haul into New York that I
can handle from where I am, and their prices have turned me off.

I'll be there, I'm playing the Rebel commander. I could use some strong players to count on for this one. Reb are you going? For those who need the details on the field, the field is about 3 hours north of NYC, just west of Albany. Here's the best part: the field policy on paint is simple: BYOP. Fair warning, the average temperature up here lately has been in the single digits recently and we've gotten a good amount of snow built up. So if you plan on playing and you don't have long johns, you're insane. But if the snow hodls out, it should help with the atmosphere nicely. |

As far as I know I'm going to be there, with potentially a team of 3 others. I go to school in Oneonta, and we're on winter recess that week, so were gonna try our hardest to get there. I'm a little concerned about Co2 with the cold weather, but we'll see what happens. I'm looking forward to it. |

Hey guys, As for winter play, be careful with your rates of fire. We here in Minnesota have noticed that the high rates of fire will freeze up your semi-automatic markers a LOT quicker, and the cold air will eventually result in brittle paintballs. We play paintball in Morristown, Minnesota a lot, and include winter paintball as well. For the most part, we either switch to pumps and pistols, or really turn down the rate of fire on our Tippmanns. Another thing to consider is the CO2 vs. HPA tanks. If at all possible, use HPA instead. HPA isn't affected by cold temperatures nearly as much as CO2. By using HPA you will ensure having constant velocity with each fired paintball. From one cold-weather state to another, I hope this information helps you guys. Have fun this weekend, and shoot someone for me! =) Take care, LTC Badger |

This is in Febuary? Huh, that gives me enough time to take the day off for a change. Is anyone pre-registering for a team or what? Then again, I'm not sure when our winter break is, and I have previous plans to go to Canada and get tanked. We'll see if the plans don't conflict.

I'm not even looking at the 'outer space' stuff. its a chance to sling paint. I don't care WHAT the scenario is. It could be a telletubbies scenario game. as long as I get to play, I'm in.

Well, I've got the day off, a new N2 tank, my gun, a borrowed A-5, snow cammies, a ride and a case of RPS polar ice.
Now for what I still need. Their website sucks, when does the game start? What's the exact adress of the place(or at least the name of the town) so I can get it on mapquest. A buddy of mine has been calling their number and getting no answer. Also, Reb, have you pre registered for a team? I'd kind of like to have a few other people I sorta kinda know there to play with. If you've got a team preferance, we should try to get on the same team. |

I havent pre-registered, so were just gonna walk on and pay the extra 5. The place is near Duanesburg, and the directions on the page are pretty succinct I thought. I also have no idea what time the game starts, so I think were gonna show up between 9 and 10. That should be early enough. If you make it out there Red, Look for us, we'll have 5 of us there (presumably) our giveaway will be the 6 and a half foot tall blonde Giant that is a friend of mine from school. He looks like a tall build louie anderson (dont tell him I said that) I'll also have the forum patch on my left shoulder. I'll send a PM with my cell phone number that you can call when you get close if you want to meet somewhere. I'm sorry I don't have more info though, Like you, I'm kinda playin it by ear.

The directions on the site run pretty much true to word. Game should be starting around 9am, I'm actually the commander for the 'Light' side of the game. I'll be there early and I'm looking for players for assault squads. I need 8 in all, so if you're interested, come find me. I'll be wearing A white chemical suit with a black tac-vest. |

I'll be there with my brother, teammate, and two friends, plus if Red joins us, that'll be 6. We'll look for you. Like I said, look for the tall blonde fellow. Its my bet that he'll be the tallest guy on the field. |

I want to thank you guys for coming out to the game. You guys were our go to group for all the tough stuff. You guys earned that MVT award. Reb, you made a great Han. I can't wait to meet up on the field again with you. I think I got hit with about a case of paint at this one. I stopped counting welts at 50. It was insane, especially taking on the entire imperial forces with just a toy lightsaber. My white chemical suit was rainbow when I walked off the field. I loved every minute of it. |

Definatly an awsome game. And a pretty good field too. I have a personal preferance for the wooded area, but the more open field we had at the end of the day was probably the factor that caused us to win. The rebel team had smaller numbers and quite a few your players, the fact that the imperials needed to cross an open area uphill to attack our base placed a check on the numerical superiority of the imperials. My least favorite missions were the x-wing ones wherewe ad to lug yellow plastic crates well behind enemy lines. We managed to get 2 over on our first run and only got into one little firefight at the hedgerows, but coming across the second time the imperials had moved up to the creek and a few of them tried to ambush us there, and again in the hedgerows, we managed to get the one crate to the drop point. Upon returning we found that the AT's were close to breaching the berms and Imperials had taken the outermost ring, we wasted a few by the creek, then about five who were at the berms. Seeing guys take out the AT's was amusing, and the MVP definatly deserved the credit for his low crawl up behind it. I thought that was going to be impossible up until we were actually playing. Good game guys, totally worth the almost 2 hour haul from Western MA.
