I play both Woodsball and Speedball but I prefer Woodsball because I think its better. It also depends on my mood; Sometimes I feel like playing woodsball and sometimes I don't because some Woodsball players uses rented guns and I think its **edited**. That's the time when I wanna play Speedball.

woodsball is better because then you dont have to run into speedballers and their attitudes. most woodsballers are just out to have a good time, a few laughs, and get stoned or drunk afterwards and talk for hours about the game. all the speedballers ive run into have always had the im better than you are attitude, but im sure there are some okay ones out there somewhere. Woodsball definitely my favorite! So many reasons why. The anticipation of taking point while moving through the woods, knowing that you could be the first person out. Dropping to your belly when that first volley of shots miss, scrambling to find cover or blindly returning fire to stop them shooting at you. Everything about it gets my heart hammering. Of course on the other side, using extreme patience sitting overlooking an open area where the opposing team may pass. Waiting and waiting for the ambush. Taking your time to line up the perfect shot, then hearing somebody sneaking up behind you. Great fun. I wouldn't trade it for any other style of play. |

WOODSBALL, because it hurts less most of the time, jk. I think so because its not a small, also its not slippery. and last because you dont have to really have a high end gun |

I prefer woodsball; the thing is just like was mentioned-if you ran this same poll on a Dye or Angel forum you'd likely get diffrent results. The reason I enjoy woodsball is that to me woodsball maintains the integrity of the game. Both teams must equally deal with the enviroment- an enviroment which often prevents someone with a "high-end" marker from simply dominating the game with a large bank-account. I'm not saying sppedball players lack skill- thats totally untrue; they are some of the hardest playing most skillful paintballers out there. Personally I have simply run into too many who have no respect for the woodsball game calling it a "throw-back" or even saying it is ruining the sport. To me speedball is much closer to achieveing this by either constantly engeneering more effiecient ways to cheat or having all out fist fights on thier little "lawns". My best friend is a speedballer and we have this argument at least once a week. In any event I just find woodsball a purer game.

I like woodsball, it doesn't waste as much paint and we all know paintballs can become very expensive, I also like being able to sneak up on someone, it's like deer hunting but for people

well as an seasoned airsoft player,, woodsball give me the poos, not realistic enough and doesnt hurt enough. speedsball is wiked fun though,, good for training for airsoft firefights, i find its more like a sport, which is how i see paintball,, airsoft is by far the best simulation so for paintball,, i would definately have to say speedsball,, to the dude who said u dont use as much ammo in the woods,, thats SOOOO boring,,, and to the other dude that voted woodsball cuz it hurts less,,, dear o dear o dear... |

all i have to say is that woodsball makes it more exciting. you get to use your mind to outsmart the enemy. if you love seeing a plan come together woodsball is for you. i love setting up suppression fire and then taking them on the flank, there is nothing like it. woodsball gives you more area to move around and really brag about it later how u smoked him in the back or how he got destroyed running across an open area.
