i just bought a used tippmann 98 custom with a foldable stock, and the mod where the air goes through the foregrip (dont know wat its called b/c im a noob), i was planning to take apart the gun to clean it and maybe polish the internals
i took off everything i have to (6 screws, foregrip, gun is not cocked//etc) to open the gun up, but when i try to the two halves will not seperate, wats the deal? why wont they come apart? any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated |

Did you screw the velocity adjustment screw all the way in? If you don't have a manual for your marker, Check the Tippmann site or go to www.tippmannparts.com and they have manuals for all Tippy markers. |

Yea you can't forget about the velocity and also the adapter to which the CO2 connects at the bottom. Actually gets kind of annoying taking all that stuff on sometimes. =/

One other thing to check is the big nut on the folding stock that tightens against the back of the marker to keep the stock from rotating. It has to be loosened as well for disassemby.
