Well, mine just showed up today. Heres some pics of interesting stuff. You all know what it looks like stock, so I just took pictures of the more interesting things.
![]() $30 red dot sight and a foregrip from a gun store. The foregrip is made in Israel so I guess thats kinda cool...Or something... ![]() Neat packaging. ![]() In case you wondered what it looks like with everything stripped off, there you go. Except I forgot to pull the mag well off. Same old stock barrel, but they changed the grip around quite a bit, its pretty slick. ![]() Thats right, Serial number 0000070 ![]() A look at the new cyclone. The holes in the cylinder allow for venting of exhaust gas, and to prevent air in front or behind the piston from slowing it down. Thats how the thing feeds upwards of 20bps now. The feeder stars inside are also a new material, almost a soft rubbery plastic. Should be alot more fragile paint friendly. It shoots just like an A5, good balance though. Its definately lighter than you would think for so big of a gun. Edited by Enos Shenk - 21 December 2006 at 9:10pm |

Upon closer inspection, is that the Spec Ops symbol on the side of the marker?

I'm interested to see if the magazine is authentically sized for an AR mag. if it is, I'm gonna replace the one that came with it with a shorter, metal one that will be a little more durable.

0000061 here, baby. And I think I disagree with some previous posters about the magazine. It is clearly made of thinner plastic than the other parts of the gun, but this is necessary for it to serve as a storage compartment. It has to bend to open, and still leave space inside. The material itself is pretty rugged. It's not "heavy" and solid the way a real clip would be, but that strikes me as a function over form result. Heck, maybe Tippmann will offer a more solid version without the tool storage as an alternative. |
