Quote Lift some weights, then it aint heavy

This kinda struck me funny.  I'll be the first to admit that the A-5 (especially my configuration) weighs a ton when compared to my buddies 68Automag or a Spyder Image.  It wasn't until after firing both of them when I realized that.  But, I benchpress over 300lbs and can preacher-curl 160lbs, so the A-5's weight is moot with me.

yes, the a-5 is heavier than many guns out there.

but if you're not some pansy **edited** it really shouldn't matter all that much. i've played 11-hour days with my a-5 and haven't been tired in the least bit with all it's "heaviness."

Allright all of you who think that because the A-5's haevy means that you get tiered easier or sore, that's not the porblem.

The problem with the weight is that it makes snap shooting harder, as well as switching hands.

As far as the person who said you can't get to 17bps in semi...  You're wrong, yes it may be somewhat challenging on a stock Ion, but not on a gun with a DECENT trigger, or an Ion with an upgraded trigger.

But back to the topic on hand, I personally say the Ion, but that's just my opinion.  And that's really all anybody has said in this thread is their personal opinions so go to a field/store and try out both markers IN PERSON, and make your own decision.

I wish my grass was emo so it would cut itself.

Some would argue that the Ion's closed bolt operation/stock regulator would make it more accurate. It's probably less reliable/durable, though.

One thing that stopped me from getting an Ion were the hidden costs:

-Nitro
-Electrical Hopper

That already raises the price tag to approx. 500, without any other upgrades such as a barrel.

There's been plenty of evidence presented, you decide.

a5 with e-grip and Jcs is better like everyone should say, i just hate smart parts so i would also say a stock a5 is better than an ion and a shocker put together

hoppers and air tanks aren't exactly hidden costs and can be attached to almost all guns
