It all goes into what your looking for.  There are high and low end of products.  For what I want to do, I got a fairly good mid range set, like my A-5. I use it for more than just my gun and mask, so I got what I needed:

$90 air brush(dual action internal mix) + $99 air compressor + paints and materials to paint on= serious "cake"

...and that compressor is junk, but the only other ones I could find that I want are twice as expensive.

Though I am curious, did your set use an air compressor?

My set doesnt run on compressed air, it runs on co2, but it can run on compressed air the reason being I jus refuse to spend that much fer a compressor when co2 is alot cheaper....lets say $10 a can.

yeah, it's may be cheaper, as long as you never buy an eleventh can.

Ive only used 2 cans to complete the paintjob and at least 8 bottles of Tamiya acrylic model paint.
