Now that I think of it I havent shot either one. My local shop doesnt have anything MAG related. None of my friends have cockers or mags although I have had the chance to take a few shots with an e-mag and it felt solid.

um...yeah...well...i guess you're going to have to wing it.  Since you're buying online then you'd probably want to get a mag, they're easy to fix if you have a problem.

Cockers, at least i've found, are much more enjoyable when you buy them from your local proshop...then, you can take it in and learn everything and anything you want about them.

After I get a Nexus Kit and a All-American barrel for my cocker though, i think im going to keep it mech and get a mag, i just love those things.

I would go with a cocker. The other people who have posted are right if you get a cocker e-blade it get it set how you want it,then dont mess with it. I've played with a cocker for about 4 years now, never had a problem it. And i just e-bladed it,so now ti rips.

Cocker - learn about timing.. don't even dare short-stroke

Mag - keep a steady supply of O-rings in all shapes and sizes and prepare for leaks..

You'd be better off with a cocker. Unless you got an older mag.. with a Level 7. Those are indestructible. New mags aren't very user friendly.. but they do kick ass.

besides the option for barrel and warpfeed.. most new mags are as advanced as possible. A gun that needs upgrades is a gun that is imperfect from the factory.
