I have a 98 Custom with response trigger and cyclone feed. I am chopping balls like crazy (NOT breaking in the barrel). I can see that the balls are getting caught in between the bolt and the body right where the balls are feeding in. But I can't tell if they are feeding too fast or too slow. Is there a way to diagnose this problem further? I took it apart and cleaned/oiled everything, and it's still doing it. I am tempted to just take it to my local shop, but if this is an easy fix, I would like to attempt it myself and save some money. Here's a pic. Not great quality, but I think you can see where it's getting stuck. EDIT: I am also having problems with having to recock.

Swollen balls?
Is there any resistance when you push them into the breech? |

The balls are brand new, good quality, and not swollen. They fall into the breech without any resistance. I have been able to determine that the recocking issue is being caused by the shell of the ball jamming the bolt.

For anyone interested, the problem turned out to be the sear spring. When the response trigger was installed, the shop didn't change over the spring to the heavier one. I replaced the spring and it works great.

I had forgotten about that heavier spring for the R/T. I'm probably due to replace some of those parts later this summer, so thanks for reminding me.

I also have a 98 Custom with the RT and Cyclone and a J&J Barrel and a The Adapter for the Cyclone and RT and a Expansion Chamber and a Double Trigger. And the gun works real good.
